Since launching The Freedom Story, we’ve had non-profits asking for help. But in the middle of our chats, they always ask why we like to focus on socially responsible companies and organizations.

My answer always goes like this:

I used to work for small agencies. I was even part of starting up an agency, being second-in-command. I worked full time, loved my team, loved my clients, and loved the work that I did. But even then, I was not feeling as fulfilled as I wanted. I felt helpless sitting behind a desk while I watched injustice happen in the world. I wanted to do more with my skills.

Good design and communication takes money. It takes experts who are able to understand what needs to be done to make a brand become the best it can be. It takes experience to get from concepts to execution. And with limited budgets, it can be hard to hire good designers that you trust to help your vision become a reality.

It’s no surprise that nonprofits (and startups) don’t have much cash flow. They know that marketing and design is important, but they often don’t have enough resources to go towards it.

My passion is to bring my agency experience to non-profits at budgets they can afford. We offer all of our services (design, branding, strategy, and development) at a discount for non-profits. It’s good for them (better results and clearer communication), it’s good for me (great experience and fulfilling), and it’s good for Brave Factor (great exposure).

Over the next few months, we’ll show you how we have helped non-profits define their vision, hone their messaging, and upgrade their look.
